Handmade stoneware rectangle tray with a stamped design and glossy glaze, available in four colors. Sized for mezcal service or appetizers. Made in Colorado.
Elevate your mezcal moments or add artisanal charm to your table with this handmade ceramic rectangle tray, thoughtfully crafted to serve two copitas and their accompaniments—or to stand on its own as a versatile, tactile vessel for food, rituals, or decor. With a clean rectangular silhouette, subtly raised edges, and a hand-stamped design, this tray is both functional and expressive—small enough for intimate use, yet bold enough to make a statement.
Use it to serve mezcal with orange slices and sal de gusano, as is traditional in Oaxaca, or repurpose it as a personal appetizer dish, jewelry rest, rolling tray, or altar offering plate. Wherever it lives, this compact tray brings an intentional sense of craft and care.
Each tray is formed from stoneware clay, hand-stamped with a custom design, and available in a curated selection of earthy glaze finishes. It’s fully vitrified, smooth to the touch, and designed to be food-safe, dishwasher-safe, and microwave-safe.
Sized to comfortably hold two standard-sized copitas (sold separately) with room for traditional mezcal accompaniments like citrus wedges or seasoning salts. Its slim profile also makes it ideal for small bites, desserts, rolling tray, or ceremony use.
All trays are fully glazed and fired to vitrification, making them non-porous, water-tight, and built to last.
This piece is a thoughtful standalone gift, or a perfect pairing with any of our Copitas de Mezcal or mezcal barware sets. We offer eco-friendly gift wrapping for a fee and a handwritten note option gratis at checkout—perfect for birthdays, housewarmings, weddings, or ceremonial holidays.
Looking to customize for a corporate gift, wedding favor, or ritual set? We can personalize trays with a name, date, or logo—just message us for custom options.
Compact, elegant, and durable—this tray transitions easily between kitchen, bar, and sacred space.
Each tray is individually formed, then carefully stamped with design while still soft. After drying and bisque firing, each piece is glazed in one of our four available finishes and high-fired to over 2,200°F. The result is a smooth, strong, and slightly reflective tray that holds up beautifully to daily use.
Our glazes are mixed in-house and applied by hand, which means every tray—while consistent in function—will show unique qualities in texture, tone, and stamped impression.
This tray is part of the Hidden Garden Pots and Copitas de Mezcal collections by Sarah Welch Pottery, a small, family-run studio based in Jaroso, Colorado. We create heirloom-quality ceramics for the table, altar, and home—from mugs and mezcal sets to planters and ritual pieces.
