How to Use

To chill wine:

• Place the chiller in your freezer 1–2 hours before use

• Or, fill with ice and place the bottle directly inside

Because it’s real stoneware, it behaves like any other wine chiller or ice bucket: if you use ice, condensation will form on the outside surface, just as it would with metal or glass. This is normal and not a defect.

All pottery from Sarah Welch Pottery is handcrafted from start to finish in our Colorado studio. This includes:

• Mixing and shaping the clay

• Creating the glazes

• High-temperature firing to 2300°F

• Detailing, stamping, and hand-finishing

We never use commercial bisqueware, molds, or premade glazes. Each piece is one-of-a-kind and shaped by hand, giving it unique variations in glaze and form that enhance its artisan charm.
