Hand cast with our own clay slip in our southern Colorado studio, this piece is finished in a signature blue-green glaze or black grey. Both color options accentuating the ribbed surface, giving it a gentle texture that plays with light and darker pooling of the glazes. Each piece is glazed fully inside and out for a water-tight, easy-to-clean finish—ready for whatever use you have in mind.

Description of Process

Each vessel is hand cast with our own formulated and mixed clay slip, trimmed by hand, then slowly dried to prevent warping. Once bisque fired, the piece is hand-glazed with our own studio developed blend, and fired again to over 2,200°F for vitrification. The glaze breaks subtly across the ridges, creating an effect that feels both natural and intentional—like water over stone.
