Each stoneware stein is hand cast and glazed with our own unique molds and glazes. We have designed the pints with clean simple lines to emphasize the brilliant colors. We use multiple layers of glazes to achieve a rich and varied surface. Bright, smooth, and full of charm—this handcrafted ceramic tumbler is a joyful addition to your daily routine. Whether you’re enjoying a well deserved beer, hydrating with water throughout the day, or enjoying a cozy evening tea, this tumbler is a pleasure to hold and behold. While our pint mugs were originally created for beer, we find that they are wonderful to use for any beverage. We offer these in other glaze colors – black/green, brown/green.
Each tumbler is carefully created and glazed by hand in our Colorado pottery studio. At Sarah Welch Pottery, we create all our own clay bodies and glaze formulations in-house—no shortcuts. This stein features a layered glaze that transitions from a tranquil aqua green to a magenta pink near the base. Inside, a creamy white glaze adds warmth and contrast.
